Dust off those trail shoes—and don’t forget your gaiters—because it’s time to Run Wild at the Gopherdillo!

Set in the scenic beauty of Lake Manatee State Park, this adventurous 5K and 10K trail run takes you deep into Florida’s natural landscape. Runners will navigate a dynamic course featuring winding dirt paths, sandy stretches, shaded pine corridors, and classic Florida flatwoods—all with peaceful lake views along the way.

Keep your eyes open for some of the park’s most iconic residents, including gopher tortoises, armadillos (the race’s namesake "gopher"  “dillos”), and a variety of native birds that bring the course to life.
